2008 – Fall Campout Meeting

The 2008 Fall Campout was held at the OX Ranch and Date Creek Ranch, northwest of Wickenburg on October 25-26, 2008. The Council camped at the OX Ranch, located about an hour northwest of Wickenburg along Date Creek. We learned about the restoration techniques that have been implemented on the ranches on Saturday. The results of a previous Rapid Stream-Riparian Assessment (RSRA) of Date Creek was also presented by the Council’s RSRA Team. On Sunday there was a hike from OX Ranch along Date Creek downstream to Date Creek Ranch.
