Join the Arizona Riparian Council and the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability at Arizona State University for a film screening of Viva la Verde on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at ASU.
Please join us for a free film screening of Viva la Verde!, a film that unveils the value of and the threats to Northern Arizona’s upper Verde River, a little-known and under-appreciated river that supports some of the best surviving riparian habitat in the Southwest. This film tells the story of the river through interviews with local river activists, using photography and video footage collected over three years of river exploration.
