The Arizona Riparian Council typically has its annual meeting around April. I’m sure many of you are wondering why you haven’t heard about an upcoming spring meeting. Well the truth is we are still in the planning stages. We are looking to have our annual meeting by this fall; around October.
We will send out the dates when we get those firmed up. We do have a theme, “Protecting Riparian Areas at the Lowest Level” and we are looking at holding the meeting in Tucson. There are some great projects already in existence and we’d like to learn their experiences about how things can be done at the local level to protect these areas. We would love to hear from you for suggestions and would welcome help in the planning process. Please contact me if you are interested.
Thanks
Kris Randall, President
